Nike ACG hosted the Sound the Wild Experience, a two-day community-driven event spanning New York City and Cold Spring, NY. The experience brought together conversation, movement, and outdoor exploration through a shared focus on nature, sound, and connection. Hayda Studios designed all print and digital graphics for the event.

Print and Digital Graphics for Nike ACG — Sound the Wild Experience

The Sound the Wild Experience was conceived as a multi-day activation exploring the intersection of community, outdoor movement, and storytelling. Hosted by Nike NYC and ACG, the event unfolded across two distinct environments—urban and natural—each shaping a different part of the experience.

Day One: Community Dinner at Nike House of Innovation, NYC

The first day took place at Nike’s House of Innovation in New York City, where a community dinner created space for conversation and connection. Panel discussions featured voices from across creative, cultural, and outdoor spaces, grounding the experience in dialogue before movement.

Print and digital graphics were designed to support this environment, balancing clarity with atmosphere. Visuals needed to feel rooted in ACG’s identity while remaining adaptable across signage, digital assets, and event materials.

Day Two: Trail Experience at Bull Hill Loop, Cold Spring, NY

The second day moved outdoors to Bull Hill Loop in Cold Spring, NY, where participants took part in a guided trail run experience. The shift from city to landscape informed how graphics functioned—supporting wayfinding, communication, and the overall tone of the event without competing with the environment.

Design decisions emphasized restraint and legibility, ensuring the graphics complemented the natural setting rather than overpowering it.

A Unified Visual System Across Environments

All graphics—both print and digital—were developed as part of a unified visual system that could translate seamlessly between locations. The goal was consistency without repetition, allowing each moment of the experience to feel connected while remaining responsive to its setting.

Collaboration and Credits

Creative production for the Sound the Wild Experience was led by Kin Studios. Photography was captured by Iso Jordin. Florals were designed by Olive Floral, with food by Thubuser. Panelists included Jesslyn NYC, Danny Jung, and Hillary Sells.

Hayda Studios was responsible for all event graphics, supporting both the visual identity and functional needs of the experience.
